National Youth Congress

Thirty-eight youth members and five adult graduates of USPC received special recognition at an Honors Banquet on January 23rd in Greenville, South Carolina, in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. The National Youth Congress was created by the USPC Board of Governors to bring together outstanding older Pony Club members from all over the country. This is the 11th year of the program, and 38 youth, ranging in age from 18 to 21, were recommended by their Clubs and selected by their Regions in recognition of their leadership at the local and regional levels. Their participation in the Congress enabled them to work together to broaden awareness of themselves and of the opportunities for the future. It also gave them the opportunity to get to know the outstanding USPC alumni who received the USPC Academy of Achievement Awards this year.
