Pony Club wants to stay connected with graduates by keeping you informed of what is happening in the organization. Pony Club reunions, open houses, and Meet and Greet events are happening across the country every year. Graduates are encouraged to join in the fun, and reconnect with your fellow alumni. Santa Cruz County Pony Club 60th Anniversary Reunion

July 16, 2016, Graham Hill Showgrounds, Santa Cruz. CA

Alumni and past club officers of the Santa Cruz County are invited to attend an afternoon and evening event to celebrate the club's 60th anniversary at the Graham Hill showgrounds from 1 pm - 7 pm on July 16th.  Santa Cruz County Horseman's Association has been at the facility since 1945 Santa Cruz Pony Club has used the facility since the early 1960's.

Guests of the reunion will be invited to watch current members participate in D camp that will be taking place at the same time and dinner will be served.

Twin Rivers Ranch Horse Trials, Pony Club Celebration

Invited to a Pony Club celebration and dinner were Twin Rivers Horse Trial competitors, Area VI riders, Pony Club alumni, members and their families.  The event started with walks on all the courses for Pony Club members and families led by Max McManamey, John Strassburger, Hawley Bennett-Awad and Gina Miles. The walkers then joined the rest of the attendees for dinner, provided by Los Robles Cafe.  A panel discussion with Kelly Loria, Brynn Littlehale, Natalie Kuhny, Gina Miles, and Hawley Bennett-Awad was held on the topic of Traveling with Your Horse.  

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a Point Two Air Vest donated by Point Two to the winner of the drawing for the highest placing Pony Club member or graduate in the Novice Divisions.  The winner was John Strassburger, a graduate A from Spring Valley Hounds Pony Club, riding in the Open Novice Division.

In addition to many Pony Club Graduates, current USPC President Dan Murphy and First Vice President Nancy Pittman were among the competitors and in attendance at the dinner as well as many other USPC Board Members and Volunteers.


Penrose Farm 50th Anniversary and Reunion

Penrose Farm in Knoxville, TN. has been a hub of Pony Club activity over the past 50 years, and on August 18th, 2013. Pony Club Alumni, members and others gathered at Penrose Farm to Celebrate 50 years of priceless memories and special times!!

Modern Pentathlon U.S. World Cup and Olympic Qualifier

March 10, 2012, Memorial Stadium, Grady Cole Center, Charlotte, NC

A great time was had by all who came to watch the Modern Pentathlon U.S. World Cup and Olympic Qualifier and stopped into the Pony Club gathering. Pony Club alumni, local members, leaders, and friends mingled together with Kevin Price, Pony Club CEO, Marian Wahlgren, Pony Club Development Director, and Pony Club Board Member Jodi Hoffman.

A light supper with a "USPC" cake was provided during the afternoon events, while the group watched the riding, running and shooting phases of the women’s selection trial of the Modern Pentathlon Olympic Qualifier. Several Pony Club members and graduates compete in the selection trials.

 


Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event

Pony Club hosted a gathering for our alumni on Sunday, April 29th 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the USPC National Office and Headquarters Building in the Kentucky Horse Park during the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event. Members of the USPC Board of Governors and the National Youth Board were on hand to talk about what's been happening in Pony Club and plans for the future of Pony Club. A light brunch was provided and the Pony Club Bookstore was open, allowing for graduates to mingle and share stories about how Pony Club help shape their lives.
