Educational offerings abound during the second half of USPC Festival! This year features mounted clinics in dressage and western dressage, hunter seat equitation and show jumping, cross-country for the eventing enthusiast, as well as mounted games and gymkhana, natural horsemanship, and distance riding. Unmounted workshops will feature World Class Grooming sessions, longeing seminars, a Masters Clinic with the Retired Racehorse Project, as well as horse management topics for beginner (D) through advanced (H-A) equine enthusiasts.

Registration

A USPC membership is not required to register for and attend Education at Festival. Pony Club welcomes any equine enthusiast to participate in this opportunity to learn from some of the best the equine world has to offer.

Mounted vs. Unmounted Registrations

Registrants between a mounted or unmounted registration option. Those who choose a mounted registration select up to four (4) mounted clinics in which they wish to participate across the two-day period. Mounted participants may ride twice a day (once in the morning and again in the afternoon), on both Sunday and Monday. Keeping both rider and horse in mind, pairs are only permitted one over-fences (jumping) clinic per day. Mounted participants may also participate in an unlimited number of unmounted workshops. Stabling for one mount (Saturday through Monday) is included in the mounted registration fee.

Choosing an unmounted registration allows the registrant access to an unlimited number of workshops and the ability to audit any mounted clinics of their choosing for the duration of the event.

D Camp

Have a younger member between 6 and 12 years old and is an un-certified through D-2 rider that would like to participate in mounted opportunities? D Camp could be just the place! This exciting opportunity allows youth members to ride their mount twice each day in small group instruction, to participate in unmounted instruction in the barn, and gives participants the chance to care for their mount at the iconic Kentucky Horse Park. Space is limited for this opportunity - register early for a guaranteed spot.
